How StreetPOTENTIA protects people

Summary of the platform's privacy controls. Operators must publish a full legal privacy notice appropriate to their jurisdiction (e.g. NDPA in Nigeria, GDPR in the UK/EU) before launch.

What is public

Published reports show the title, description, category, approximate or exact location (as you choose) and non-private media. Your name is shown only if you do not choose to report anonymously.

What is never public

Email addresses, phone numbers, precise locations of sensitive reports, private media, NGO beneficiary records, internal moderation notes and the identity of anonymous reporters.

Uploads

Files are type-checked. Photos are re-encoded to remove EXIF data including GPS coordinates. Files are stored privately and delivered only through short-lived signed links after a permission check.

Moderators

Moderators can review reported content but cannot see the identity of anonymous reporters. Access to private media is logged in the audit trail.

Your rights

From Settings you can export your data, edit your profile, change notification preferences and delete your account. Deletion removes personal data; public reports remain as anonymous evidence so the public record is not silently rewritten.

No facial recognition, no political targeting

The platform does not identify people in images and never sells identifiable community reports.
