From one observation to measurable change
StreetPOTENTIA is a shared intelligence platform. Each step below is a working part of the product — and each is honest about what it can and cannot tell you.
1. Document
Anyone can submit a problem, opportunity, community asset, idea, success story or proposal in one to three minutes. Location can come from GPS, a map pin or a typed landmark — no smartphone GPS, ID or video is required. You can save drafts and report anonymously.
2. Validate
Reports are stored immediately and processed in the background: file-type checks, image metadata (including GPS) removal, jurisdiction matching, duplicate suggestions, spam checks and an explainable evidence indicator. Sensitive reports and hazards go to human moderators first. Likely duplicates are linked, never deleted.
3. Analyse
A structured pipeline — not a chatbot — retrieves related reports, curated sources and comparable cases, then produces a sectioned analysis: root-cause hypotheses, missing information, solutions and trade-offs, feasibility, risks and tailored next steps. Every claim carries an evidence basis, and citations can only reference sources that were actually retrieved. When no language model is configured, a deterministic rules engine produces a clearly-labelled analysis instead.
4. Discover & assess
Reports can become opportunity hypotheses. The Business Lab adds customer-discovery kits, market framing, a business-model canvas, a deterministic financial model with conservative/base/upside scenarios and sensitivity tests, and a 7/30/90-day roadmap. The Impact Studio applies only the assessment dimensions that fit the project.
5. Act
The Government Action Desk drafts complaints, service requests, petitions, policy briefs and more from the evidence record, with citations and a list of assumptions to confirm. Nothing is ever sent by the platform: you approve the draft, submit it yourself and record the reference number.
6. Measure & learn
Service records track acknowledgement, response, reported resolution and independently verified outcome as separate steps. The public scorecard shows transparent individual indicators with sample sizes and documented denominators — never a single popularity ranking.
What the public labels mean
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Received and stored. Not reviewed. |
| Under review | A moderator is checking it before publication. |
| Community corroborated | Three or more independent people reported observing the same thing. Indicates prevalence, not truth. |
| Evidence reviewed | A reviewer accepted at least one piece of supporting evidence. |
| Officially acknowledged | The responsible institution acknowledged it, with evidence. |
| Work in progress | A substantive response or work has been recorded. |
| Resolution evidence received | Evidence that the issue was addressed has been submitted. |
| Independently verified outcome | An independent reviewer verified the outcome. |
| Disputed | Contradicting observations outweigh confirmations, or the claim is contested. |
